Bridge Road Brewers
A favourite of the locals and regarded as one of Australia’s benchmark craft beer producers, Bridge Road Brewers offers the complete craft beer experience. Along with the brewery, located in a 150-year-old coach house, you will also find the popular pizza restaurant, a ten-tap tasting bar and a large family-friendly beer garden with a children’s play area.

The Empire Hotel
Good things come in threes, and so it is that The “New” Empire Hotel on the corner of Camp and High Streets in Beechworth has three new owners. Renowned chef Shauna Stockwell, together with Andrew Madden and Scott Daintry, share around 90 years of hospitality experience in some of the best restaurants and pubs in Australia, the US, and the UK, and in recent years, in the North East. 

Tanswell’s Hotel
Tanswell’s offers a delicious menu cooked over fire, crafted with sustainable practices in mind ensuring that guests can enjoy the best of what the local area has to offer now and into the future. The menu contains both conventional and wild meats, as well as vegetarian options.

Hotel Nicholas

The Hotel Nicholas has a unique place in the Beechworth township with its collection of local and Kelly memorabilia. The Hotel prides itself in offering good quality food, freshly made and sourced from local produce, an extensive local Wine list, local and boutique Beer and a range of Cider, in a homely welcoming environment.

Hibernian Hotel 
The Hibernian has been a fixture of historic Beechworth since the gold rush days of 1868.
Dating back to when horses wore shoes of gold and the Kelly Gang roamed the plains of the great divide, the Hibernian Hotel has stood tall taking its place in Beechworth folklore. Built on the traditions of local hospitality, generous spirit and a hint of mischief, the Hibernian Hotel continues blissfully servicing locals and visitors with the same country warmth and relaxed atmosphere.

Billson’s Brewery
Soak up the sunshine with friends in our Beer Garden (dogs welcome here, too). Billson’s Speakeasy is a sophisticated place for a cocktail or glass of local wine. And from the Factory Viewing Deck you are very welcome to watch our team at work, producing delicious beverages for you to enjoy!

The Ox And Hound Bistro
Chef and owner Sean Ford is fuelled by an obsession with rustic French and Italian cooking, expect a menu stacked with comforting bistro classics: chicken liver parfait, goat cheese souffle, fettuccine with wild rabbit and the signature honey pannacotta. Foraged foods and home-grown produce abound – we grow varieties of carefully selected heirloom vegetables and fruit exclusively for the restaurant. 

Oak View Restaurant 
Indulge for dinner with the seasonal best and local north-east Victorian produce. We offer dinner five nights a week, where we look to showcase locally sourced produce, and the kitchen garden to pair our modern Australian dishes with award-winning local wines.

Provenance Restaurant 
Provenance has been an Age Good Food Guide two chef’s hat restaurant for the last 9 years running and is No. 30 in the current  Gourmet Traveller Top 100 Australian Restaurants. The restaurant creates contemporary food from quality regional produce with a focus on seasonal awareness. Michael Ryan’s many trips and deep interest in Japan is reflected in the techniques and flavours in the menu.

The Stanley Pub – EST 1854
Follow the winding, bending road for just ten kilometres south of Beechworth and you will come across the small village of Stanley. This tight-knit farming community is renowned for its beautiful produce. The cool climate and fertile soils provide the perfect conditions for growing apples, chestnuts, stone fruit, berries and nuts.
