Each cottage is fully self-contained and designed for a comfortable,
relaxing stay in a natural bush setting.

Your private cottage opens up to a picturesque garden filled with a large variety of birds,
especially the many finches and colourful parrots of the region.
Each Cottage has two bedrooms, comprising a Queen Bed and 2 x Single Beds.
Also available is a Double fold-out Sofa Bed in the living area.
Both have a full-sized working kitchen with a dishwasher and dining table,
separate lounge room, furnishings, large walk-in shower, powder room, air/con, gas log fire heater,
electric blankets, 50″ Smart TV with Free Netflix, DVD player, Bluetooth music system,
Free WiFi, books, hair dryer, laundry, and ironing facilities.
Varieties of tea, plunger coffee, milk, cereal & basic pantry items.
Outdoor shared undercover area with BBQ & Pizza oven.
All linen and towels are provided.
Nestled in the foothills of Beechworth, just a short walk/drive to Woolshed Falls and Beechworth Historic Park,
offering mountain bike tracks, historic walking trails, swimming holes, and scenic picnic areas.
Mt Pilot National Park and Reedy Creek are also close by for fishing, gold panning, and gem fossicking.

Premium hospitality in a dream homestead! Incredible quaint place to base ourselves for a Beechworth trip for the High Country Hop. Justin and Veronica went above and beyond, from the mouthwatering homemade cheesy Anzac biscuits to helping us get into town for the High Country Hop. Couldn't have had a better stay, thank you Justin and Veronica!

Stayed three nights with a friend.
The cottage was absolutely beautiful, everything was catered for.
So many small touches you don't usually see in other places such as fresh milk in the fridge to mosquito coils with a lighter.
The grounds are lovely, quiet and peaceful. You have a sense of being totally alone but you are only a five minute drive into town.

Relaxing, comfortable and a true country getaway. The property was beautiful, surrounded by trees, spacious, good outdoor seating, cosy inside with everything provided for your comfort, comfy beds and couch etc. There was even breakfast provisions, quality coffee and a gift of homemade biscuits.

Exceptional. Serena Cottages was warm and welcoming on arrival the gas log fire was on so instantly felt comfortable on that cold winter's day. Each room was fitted with heaters, fans and central cooling to keep us at a comfortable temperature when the temperature dropped significantly overnight and warmed up during the day. They were generous in providing tea, coffee, milk and spreads. As well as homemade cookies and museli - both absolutely delicious! My only regret is we couldn't stay longer

Great location with amazing views. Really comfortable layout. Fresh milk in the refridge always gets bonus points. For those not wanting in town accom without the traffic noise this place is beautiful. Oh, this place has the hottest best shower ever and it's huge.. I loved that the hosts turned on the heater and electric blankets in consideration of our late arrival and freezing temperatures. Oh. The carpet in the lounge is beautiful. No boring carpet here. All of the rooms are large. For a cottage every room is larger than my victorian house in Melbourne. They also have great mood lighting options.

Very relaxing, warm and comfortable stay for 4 adults, with every convenience provided. The cottage exceeded our expectations, every care and consideration had been provided for our comfort by our thoughtful hosts. The weekend weather turned out to be very cold and wet, but the cottage was a spacious warm space in which to retreat.

Clean well provisioned cottage with abundant birdlife which exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. Breakfast cereal, milk and spreads were all provided. Good range of herbs and spices. Ground coffee, etc. exceeded our expectations. The biscuits were delicious.

Exceptional. Justin and Veronica are super hosts!! Super clean accommodation. We enjoyed the homemade cookies upon arrival which made us feel so welcoming. Plus the thoughtful provision of breakfast and condiments is amazing and saved us few trips to the town. We honestly think Justin and Veronica should consider conducting training sessions for other hosts 🙂 Highly recommend Serena Cottage to anyone who loves a serene getaway and the sound of birds.

Loved our stay at Serena Cottages. The setting is so relaxing and the bird life is simply amazing. The cottage is comfortable and homely and has everything you could need. The close location to the beautiful town of Beechworth makes it ideal. There is so much to do in the local area we would love to return for a longer stay at a future date.

Great little cottage, quite and peaceful.
Justin has a lovely array of bird life going on to add to a well setup cottage.
Fresh milk in the fridge, a lovely touch.
As were the Anzac biscuits.
The BBQ area is well appointed.
Morning coffee under the shade sail while enjoying the country life, a thumbs up.
Beechworth is 5 min away or call a cab ride.
I recommend Justin's cottage and would stay there again when in the area.

Relax in Nature. An amazing property, the perfect place to relax as a family (or as a couple). The number of birds flying around was quite a sight as was the koala family in the nearby trees. Our kids were very happy to see their first koalas in the wild. Its a short trip into town so never far away if you've forgotten something, but the property had a lot to offer in books and games and entertainment.

Just had a beautiful weekend at Serena Cottages with family. What a gorgeous spot. So peaceful, beautiful gardens and lots of bird life.
The cottage was so comfortable and clean. The added little extras were above and beyond what I've experienced before.

Our 6th visit and the cottage never fails to impress. Justin and Veronica are lovely friendly hosts, while respecting one's privacy. Lovely quiet location. Spacious, very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The garden attracts many species of birds and their calls are the only sound to be heard. A few minutes into Beechworth with its many little shops and restaurants. We look forward to our next visit.

Find a reason to come to stay here. It is amazing in itself. There is no need to go into Beechworth, just read & relax and be.
Beautiful garden and surroundings, spacious cozy cottage brilliantly well equipped & provisioned for a great stay. Everything has been thought through. So many places don't bother about recycling - here they do, even composting.

Exceptional. This property is exceptional and everyone should come and stay here. Garden was full of amazing birds..even a bower bird and his nest. There was a koala in the tree as well. Just a lovely peaceful place to unwind. It was an extremely clean property with lots of extras..fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and lots more.It is close to Beechworth and all surrounding towns for exploring.All in all it has everything you could wish for so make it your next stay. This really felt like a home away from home with everything you need. Bring your food and you will be completely comfortable and set up to cook meals etc. Ideal for families with lots of safe play space for kids outside.

Couldn't recommend Serena Cottages more highly. 2 bedrooms, very spacious with so many incredibly thoughtful touches. The kitchen was well stocked and included basics that are annoying to have to buy yourself for a short trip, (spreads, oils, vinegar, glad wrap etc) as well as very kindly providing fresh herbs from the garden and fresh cookies! The whole place was impeccably and immaculately clean and perfectly presented, again with so many intelligent and practical extra touches that made our stay super comfortable. Board games, books, info about the local area etc and expansive outdoor space with BBQ. Love the focus on sustainability too.

Ahhh the serenity!! Absolutely loved our cottage stay. It’s deceivingly spacious and has everything you need plus a beautiful view and morning sun streaming through the windows. The homemade cookies were such a treat, and all the extras like milk, cereal, tea and coffee were so thoughtful. It was so peaceful, our kids loved playing backyard cricket on the beautiful lawn. We’d definitely return and highly recommend. Loved it!!

Great value cottages in an idyllic location. Peaceful bush surroundings but only 5 minutes from town. Cottages are very clean, comfortable and well appointed with a well-equipped kitchen and large rooms. Justin and Veronica were very responsive and easy to deal with. A lovely cottage with a lovely garden. Close to Beechworth and many other attractions. We did several lovely bike rides, some right from the cottage. The kitchen has just about anything you would need, the bathroom was spacious and also well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. Did not need to use the heating or air conditioning this time, but it looked very functional. Netflix worked well, after a BBQ dinner in the lovely gazebo. Loved sitting in the garden watching the birds. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable cottage set in a beautiful peaceful garden with lots of bird life. The house was the cleanest we have ever stayed in with everything you would need for a holiday. We had barbecues every night and fresh strawberries from the pick your own farm up the road. We took our e-bikes and explored the local rail trails and visited most of the local villages. We also went to the escape rooms at the Asylum twice. A lovely base for our holiday.

Everything was as advertised and more. All of the little things you could need were provided from breakfast amenities to make-up remover! Instructions for all appliances which are so often missing. The cottage was private and so incredibly clean!! Fabulous place to stay!

It is all the extra touches that make your place special and there are so many. Well equipped kitchen, flowers everywhere in the cottage and a beautiful garden. The cottage is well-appointed. Obviously, Justin and partner have made it so to be comfortable, relaxing and having all the amenities in place to be a great place to stay whether in winter or summer. Tips and instructions on how to be eco-friendly on site were very helpful feeling inspired to honour the directions provided. Plenty of nature to see in the region with the property having abundant bird life of great beauty, and if you are into wineries then those are there for the taking! Well worth the visit!

What a beautiful place to stay! The cottage is peaceful and private, and set in lovely tranquil gardens. It was spotless inside and out and had everything our family of four needed. Justin was very helpful and check-in etc was very simple. The area around Beechworth has so much to offer - cycling, walking (Mt Pilot is amazing), history, eating, shopping... Loved it!

Comfort, convenience and a cottage. A most excellent stay in a rural setting, 5 km from Beechworth and easy access to all the delights of the region. Very well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms provided an excellent set of necessaries topped off by a fabulous BBQ/Pizza gazebo in a lovely garden setting.

Relaxing stay just outside Beechworth.
This was a really pleasant, quiet and relaxing stay, in a cute cottage just a few km outside Beechworth, in Wooragee.
The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, even pitching in to fix the Netflix when it wasn't initially working. At night, we could sit outside and look at the stars after a pleasant dinner in Yackandandah or Beechworth.
Place was spotlessly clean, and would be perfect for a family of 4/5 (1 queen and 2 singles in 2 bedrooms, plus a fold-out couch). It was perfectly fine for our group of 2 couples.
Highly recommended as a great base for exploring the Beechworth area.

Long weekend getaway. Serena Cottages was just beautiful, it was immaculate & had everything you need plus more. Perfect location for a quiet, relaxing getaway & only a few minutes from the town centre.
Will most definitely be back.

Sweet Little Country Get Away. A tranquil oasis just out of Beechworth this gorgeous cottage had everything you could ask for. It was clean, spacious, and our hosts Justin and Veronica were so very welcoming. Thoughtful touches included extra condiments, biscuits and fresh flowers from their garden. A rejuvenating escape from Melbourne. We will definitely be back.

Ideal for a Christmas break. The cottage is well laid out and comfortable in a lovely setting. We loved the proximity to the Woolshed Falls which are a great spot to cool down and explore. Justin was welcoming and helpful. Great stay.

Long weekend break. We loved our stay in Beechworth and this Wooragee cottage was outstanding. We were welcomed with home baked cookies, a pristinely clean cottage and the attention to detail and little extras meant for a very comfortable stay. Justin and Veronica were easy to deal with and we hope to come again. Thank you.

Lovely, peaceful accommodation. We enjoyed our stay. The property was cosy, well appointed, and in beautiful surroundings. The kids loved the wildlife and the visiting cat Polly Waffle was a big hit.

We had a wonderful stay at Serena Cottages in Wooragee. Our cottage was immaculate and Justin and Veronica had thought of absolutely everything we could possibly need. We were treated to Portuguese tarts and jam drops on arrival which were delicious and really appreciated after our long drive. The cottage was warm and so clean and the beds very comfortable. We bushwalked at Mt Buffalo, visited Bright and Mount Beauty and were only a few minutes from historical Beechworth. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Justin and Veronica for such a fabulous week away.

A fabulous cottage in a quiet bush location with every little detail thought of - toiletries, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed, plush towels, effective heating, games, books, even a fresh baked cake.

We had a great time at Justin and Veronica's place. Very attentive and respectful hosts. The place was super clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The gardens were well manicured. A lot of love has gone into this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious welcome cupcakes! Happy to recommend the hosts and place to other travellers.

Great accommodation, friendly owners, well cared for property. One of the cleanest properties we have stayed at. The kitchen is well stocked, and loved the welcoming cake, and milk in the fridge. The location was ideal for us. Very peaceful and tidy. Again one of the cleanest and fully stocked places we have stayed at. Fully recommend this property.

The cottage is an excellent place to stay if you're hanging around Beechworth and surrounds. Perfectly peaceful with all the amenities you need (and some) for a getaway. Justin keeps the place in an immaculate condition, as well as the gardens outside. You'll really enjoy staying here.

Comfy beds and a peaceful setting. My friend and I stayed for three nights and absolutely loved it here. We were delighted to find homemade banana bread with blueberry butter awaiting us, which was a nice touch from the lovely hosts. The property is about a 5 min drive from Beechworth (just down the road from the Beechworth berry place) which meant lots of stars in the sky and peace and quiet. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we made use of the massive BBQ and gazebo for our final night while the sun set behind us. The separate toilet and bathroom was handy and the beds were super comfy. Check-in was easy and the hosts were friendly and communicative. Highly recommended for a group of friends or a family, thank you Justin and Veronica for a lovely stay!

Delightful Cottage outside Beechworth. Justin and Veronica were delightful hosts. Welcoming but non-intrusive. The cottage was well setup with thoughtful touches and lacked nothing. The tasty tarts and pies made for an excellent supper.

This lovely little cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my partner. Very clean, organised, and cozy space. Close to Beechworth, while also being far enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful. The hosts even left us some baked treats on arrival, which were delicious! 5 stars for that alone!!

Just perfect. The cottage is a lovely home, together with all the comforts, appliances and equipment one could hope for. The gardens are beautiful and teeming with birdlife. The owners could not be more friendly or helpful. We loved our stay there.

Justin welcomed us to the property and was always available when needed. The cottage was superb. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and having an evening drink in the garden whilst watching the fairy wrens darting about. The amenities were probably the best we have ever experienced with just one exception: no dishwasher. Frankly that was only a minor inconvenience when everything else was so perfect.

Truth in advertising. Serena cottages were exactly that. Spacious accomodation with all the amenities to make a great stay plus more. We felt safe, bed was very comfortable, the surroundings quiet, shower was hot and strong and the towels were large and fluffy. There were treats on arrival plus a variety of breakfast cereal. Then we had the most beautiful garden with flowers and birds. The separate bbq, pizza oven area was well equipped too. An easy drive to Beechworth and Chilton plus the national parks. Justin and Veronica were the perfect hosts.

Serena Cottage is in a really lovely setting, with beautifully maintained gardens in a very quiet location. The cottage itself is even better than it appears from the available photos - it is very comfortable, extremely clean, and nicely furnished. The owners also provided many additional touches that make the place feel very welcoming. It was lovely to be able to sit outside watching the abundant birdlife in the attractive garden while having breakfast or evening drinks . We stayed there on our way to Mount Kosciuszko national park, and liked it so much that we went there again on our return journey, and would strongly recommend it.

Xmas Holiday getaway. We had a fantastic stay at the Serena Cottages which are very conveniently located just outside Beechworth. The setting is fantastic, letting you feel the surrounding nature and offering all that's needed for a pleasant stay.
We did enjoy how clean and well-equipped the facilities are and the online/Netflix service was a welcome bonus for times spent at home.
Great experience that we can highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the busy city life, or simply enjoy a few quiet days on the countryside.

Serena cottages was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Communication with Justin was excellent and responsive The gift of homemade cakes on arrival was very welcoming. My friend and l enjoyed a lovely time watching the amazing bird life around us and visiting the local Koala. Peaceful and quiet but not too far out of town to visit and explore places near by. The home is spotless and with all amenities. Would definitely recommend and love to come back and stay another time.

Justin and Veronica were very welcoming hosts and Serena Cottages was a lovely place to stay. The garden area was beautiful and a great place to sit in the sunshine and watch the bird life. The accommodation was comfortable and lots of little extras that travellers may need were provided, in addition to some tasty treats on arrival ( yum!) There we’re no steps and a large shower with grab rail and wide door, making it perfect for my elderly father whose mobility is not what it once was! The location is only a short drive out of Beechworth and within easy reach of many interesting towns in the area. If you want the extra space to enjoy a rural getaway, Serena Cottages is well worth it.
